Historical Participants
Please note that the Saukville Crossroads Rendezvous is an invitation-only event. Participation in the past events does not guarantee your invitation to the event. Our focus for the event is the Fur Trade in Wisconsin from 1750 through 1840 and, specifically, the history of the Crossroads in Saukville over that time period; priority will be given to reenactors, presenters, sutlers, and entertainers who are excellent demonstrators and educators and are willing to participate in our School Day on Friday.
Participants will be asked to provide photos and links or a statement describing your individual or group presentation; we are looking for dedication to historical accuracy and a thorough knowledge of the time period and the people you are representing. Most importantly, we want you to be able to tell us who you are. That being said, we are also very interested in building reenactors and assisting those who are looking to get started in the hobby or to further their knowledge, so if you are willing and wanting to learn more, please contact us!
If you are interested in participating in the event, please fill out the contact form below. In the comment section, please add your individual or group description and any links, if applicable. If you meet our requirements, registration forms will be sent to you. Only individuals who have sent in registration or have confirmed attendance with the organizers will be admitted to camp at the event. Any reenactor who wishes to dress for the day and join us is welcome.
Volunteers
We are looking to work with local Civic and Non-Profit groups to provide food, beverages, and services at the event, but individuals are welcome, as well. Historical attire will be facilitated and booth space will be provided to nonprofits. This is an excellent fundraising or service opportunity. If you are interested, please contact us!
